A bit about me:: I have two wonderful sons and three of the greatest grandchildren in the world. God has blessed me to be in a church where the truth is taught in a way that makes it easy to apply His Word to my life. GOD is so Wonderful. Psalm 13:6 "I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me."

Purpose - Calling

In the year 2005 I was struggling and still do at times, about my purpose and calling in God's Kingdom. After talking with a seasoned saint from my church, she told me to read Psalms 32:9 and mediate on it and talk to God about it. I did. The scripture says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life, I will advise you and watch over you." Reading it several times this prayer came to me. Lord, show me the path to take. Sin and Ivy

I remember some years ago working in my yard. Trying to remove some of the ivy that had grown up against the house (ivy looks good, but I don't like it) the Holy Spirit spoke to me. Look at the ivy, really look at it. I did. I noticed that the ivy had tiny suction cups on it that made it adhere to whatever it was growing near. These suction cups actually made it hard to pull the ivy away from the house without putting some strength into it. This is how sin affects my people. It looks good, but i… Continue
